Vast Sky/Big Mind

I am considering attending Vast Sky/Big Mind conference this weekend, and I'm so excited! This conference will allow me to meet in person Bill Harris, Genpo Roshi, Ken Wilbur, and Bernie Glassman.
The same week I started Holosync, I had a dream of meeting Bill Harris in person. We were talking on the phone to each other, but then he walked into the same convenience store I was already in and I saw him. The overall feeling was that he is genuine, not a scheister, and truly wants to help evolve as many people as possible with his Holosync program. This dream is the foundation for enough trust in the company Centerpointe to be an affiliate and I started Live on Purpose web site because of my trust in Holosync.
Of course, Ken Wilbur is a major influential mind behind the original Zaadz, bought by Gaia.
Genpo Roshi and Bill Harris have been presenting together for perhaps a year, but I don't really know how long. Roshi's Big Mind process is said to change lives for the better. I believe it involves interviewing all the various parts of your mind to see what roles they play in your psyche, and possibly reorganizing their pecking order.
I see I need to secure a babysitter for two days to allow me to attend! Shouldn't be too hard!

Hi Jess: I guess you and I share pretty much the same thoughts regards BH and Centerpointe. Although I haven't been able to get too charged up about all the Integral stuff, I still like a lot of what Bill says in his blogs. A lot of NLP stuff there. I am also an affiliate, although I've only seen one small cheque in the three years I've had it on my web-sites. I don't think the link works half the time.
Earlier this year I finally sat down and watched the “Big Mind” DVD I received early last year - it was Bill doing it on his own, with Jack Canfield sitting in the front row, I think for moral support, or something… ;). I've used it since as part of a hypnosis technique in age regression with a couple of clients, although I have to say that the results were somewhat mixed up. My own impressions, doing the Big Mind process myself is that it is just a lighter level of trance (induced by emotions), and more imagination than fact, although the 'placebo' effect it has can still be productive if the person isn't hugely stuck.
I'd be interested in your take on things, once you've been to the presentation and thru the process. Lucky you to get to rub shoulders with these guys!!! Find that babysitter!!!!

I didn't know Bill was sending out videos of the actual process. I knew he was sending emails and making blog posts encouraging people to attend the live event. Thanks for letting me know your impressions of it. I think I can see what you mean about “more imagination than fact” because if I remember correctly you have to ask various parts of yourself what their purpose is. I guess you have to make up the answers as you go along.
I attended the workshop and got so much benefit from Big Mind I'm still having insights. There was a lot to integrate and if I find some time later I'll make some blog posts about it. Bill Harris hugged me, and I got photos with Bill and me, as well as Genpo Roshi and me. Haven't even put them on the computer yet. This has been my summer of transformation.
Lucky you - a hug from Bill!!!!
Looking forward to your sharing of photo's and thoughts.
Wondering if you'd be interested in posting (or linking) to the Holosync group as well - I'm sure others there would also be interested. BTW, you can post photo's in there as well, I think.
